Raspberry All Stars (and a color-blind dad)

My dad recently went to the US, so I asked him very kindly to buy me a pair of Converse because they are cheaper there.

I requested a pair of wine-red, high top converse. A week later my dad returned and he gave me the shoebox so very proudly. When I opened it, the shoes were pink! That’s how it goes when you ask your color-blind dad. Haha! But acually, I really like them! :D

Romance At Short Notice

I thought I’d do a music/outfit post!
The last couple of days it has been christmas, and it actually turned out pretty okay. Still not my favourite part of the day, but hey, at least there were some nice presents ;) Hope you all had a nice christmas!

So now to the music part, I HAVE to recomend this great band, Dirty Pretty Things. The former Libertines singer/guitarist Carl Barât started the band after The Libertines broke up. Dirty Pretty Things is history now aswell. But they sure did make some good music!
So listen to the songs:
Gin & Milk
Blood Thirsty Bastards

And here’s what I wore this christmas!

Is this Christmas?

So, it’s this time a year again. And after playing every sad song I know and crying until I couldn’t breathe, I must confess that I’m not too excited about christmas. This year, my family simply “didn’t have time” for christmas. No gingerbreads, no christmascards and no fixing the tree. It is worse than other years, but even though we haven’t done anything at all, everyone is still stressed and irritated.

I can’t stand it. Now I’m even looking forward to the christmas food (!).

Anyways, Merry Christmas y’all! :)

My musical hero, Brian Fallon.

I feel like it was my responsibility today to enlighten you all about my muscial hero I’ve loved since I saw him live this summer. That, my dear friends, would be Brian Fallon, leadsinger in The Gaslight Anthem and The Horrible Crowes.

Except from all the great songs on their album “The 59th Sound” I’ve just discoverd two amazing covers that I am obsessing over.
Brian Fallon, covering Teenage Dream with Katy Perry and Baba O’Riley with the Who.
Baba O’Riley is a great song to beguin with, and he managed to do it even better. And Teenage Dream, well, just say he gave the hopeless pop-song a soul and a meaning.

Just listen to them!

Photos from Stockholm

Thought that I might share some of my photos from Stockholm. The trip was great, but way too short. We only spent two full days in Stockholm. Rihanna was amazing live, although I normaly don’t like pop-concerts. I was lucky, Rihanna canceled both the show the day before and the day after we saw her, due to exhaustion. That was something I could not understand when I saw her performance!

Other than going to the concert, I did alot of shopping. But the funniest moment of the trip took place on the train. I was standing in line for the toilet, and there was a woman before me and an old lady behind me. After a while the woman left the line because she had waited so long. I stayed a bit longer and after a while a guy in my age came out, I started to walk past him into the toilet but BAAM I almost walked into a girl who came out after the guy. My god, my expression must have been hilarious!
